So ist es, wenn man sich für die starken ersten 35 Minuten nicht belohnt: der Gegner macht durch einen Standard das für uns unglückliche 0:1. Und dann wäre das Unheil noch schlimmer gekommen, doch N. Gardeike parierte den Strafstoß.
Den besseren Beginn in der zweiten Hälfte hatten wieder wir, doch O. Tastan, traf den Außenpfosten. Und der Ausgleich fiel eine Situation später aus spitzem Winkel.
Dann entwickelte sich ein intensives Spiel, bei dem die Mariendorfer phasenwiese besser kombinierten und einige gute Torchancen fabrizierten. In diesen Situationen hatten wir einfach das Glück des Tüchtigen, um jedoch in der Schlussphase wiederzukommen. Da hatten L. Möllers und T. Hytrek die besten Möglichkeiten, uns auf die Siegerstraße zu bringen.
Insgesamt ein gerechtes Remis, bei dem man beiden Mannschaften anmerkte, unbedingt die drei Punkte für sich verbuchen zu wollen. Das Spiel war stets hart, aber verließ nie die Grenzen des Erlaubten. Dafür beiden Teams ein Kompliment. Mit der heutigen Mannschaftsleistung kann man stolz auf unsere vorwiegend junge Truppe sein.
Schon am Samstag geht es weiter um 14.00 Uhr im Jahnsportpark (Cantianstraße) zum ewig jungen Duell beim SV Empor. Ich selbst werde durch Abwesenheit glänzen und drücke Euch aus der Ferne die Daumen.
